Home Buyers' Resource Center was incorporated in November of 1990. The company was founded by it's owner Bethany Marten. Beth's background is in property management and investment properties. Prior to HBRC, Beth ran a successful contracting company for several years.

HBRC has undergone many changes since it was first conceived. Yet, its mission statement has always remained the same "Help the Home Buyer".
The first big break came in September of 1992 when Newsday did a big article on Buyer Brokerage in which Beth was featured. Beth quit her property management job and worked at HBRC full time.

HBRC brought the concept of Buyer Agency to the forefront in Long Island and Queens. Never before has one company of this size exclusively represented buyers only!

In August of 1996 HBRC was given its' Mortgage Brokerage Certificate from the New York State Banking Department. This idea was kicked around for a long time before it was put into action. It had to work right with the rest of our concept, and its purpose is to enhance our services.

HBRC continues to define and refine Buyer Agency as we build a future in which buyers are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve. We will continue to actively work with our buyer clients who wish to become homeowners on Long Island and in Queens.
